Commercial & Domestic Appliance Repair
ABOUT ME
BARNABY JAMES
I am Barnaby James, your friendly local repair guy. Why pick me? I have 15 years of experience repairing a very wide range of electrical appliances from domestic kitchen appliances to commercial restaurant kitchen and laundry equipment. The majority of my repairs are usually completed within the hour.
I was born in Penryn and moved my family and business 'back home' from Scotland in 2026. While away in Scotland, I had a wide callout area and worked in places like ancient castles, country cottages, large hotels, high street restaurants and private homes under the business name BJ Services Perthshire and I had ALL 5 star Google reviews.
I strongly feel that in today's throw away society it is better to maintain and repair your items instead of scrapping them. This helps both the environment and your wallet and can be more convenient and quick than replacing old for new. However, choosing to repair is not always economical for the customer so if I feel that the repair is not going to save the customer money, I always let them know before starting the job.

Great service from Barnaby who came out promptly to repair my faulty washing machine for a very reasonable price. Will definitely use again.

Friendly and efficient. Had to call Barnaby about a faulty dishwasher, asked me questions over the phone first to see if it could be fixed that way. Would happily recommend.

My tenant had issues with her fridge freezer and Barnaby's service was excellent. Not only did he ultimately resolve the issue efficiently, he offered advice beforehand so we could try and resolve the problem ourselves first. Barnaby was both reliable and professional and I shall be recommending his services to others. Thank you!
Vanessa
Barnaby fixed my over promptly which was important as it's in a rental property.
